Take a second look, you may have not seen it all!

If you are looking for Love. Look again! God showed us the greatest love by sending his son to die on the cross because of our sins! John 3:16 says" For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten son, whosoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life! Further, we read in Romans 8;38-39 " For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Because of this love, we have freedom! Because of His love, we an now approach the throne of God with confidence!
Why look again?
Looking again simply means REVELATION!
In 2 Kings 6: 16, 17 we read, "When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh, my lord, what shall we do?" the servant asked."Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." And Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha"This is a very powerful story that captures the entire concept of looking again! Not only with your physical eyes, but with your Spiritual eyes!.
When the centurion who stood before Jesus saw how he died, he said, "Surely this was the son of God" He got a revelation that was not there before. This was still the same person whom he had thought worthless but his eyes were opened! Look Again!
On their way to the grave, Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of James and Salome asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away for us?" But when they looked up, the large stone had been rolled away!
On the way to Emmaus, Jesus conversed with the two disciples and even went home with them to honor their invitation. When he broke the Bread and gave thanks, their eyes were opened and all of a sudden, they realized that It was Jesus all along! Luke 24:32 "They said to each other, Did not our hearts burn withinn us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the scriptures?"
The disciples could not understand why Jesus had to die. They were having a hard time accepting the fact that their Rabbi would leave them. Jesus response to them in this situation was " These are the words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms. And their eyes were opened and they could comprehend the scriptures”. Luke 24: 44-45
“When your focus is not on Christ, who has your attention? Focus on Jesus; his word, his will, his calling for your life!
Mark 8 22-25 “They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. 23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything? He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.” The Blind man had to look again for his sight to be clear. Sometimes you have to open your eyes to see what you had not seen before, sometimes you need to open your eyes to see clearly.
In looking again, your focus should be on Christ. Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” Let us focus on Jesus; on his word, his will and his calling for our lives!
After Jesus ascended into heaven, we read that the disciples were looking up intently as he was going (Jesus) and suddenly, two angels asked, “Why are you standing here looking at the sky? Hmm… this is a very good question. When you are not looking at Christ, who has your attention? When you stray from him, remember to look again! He is always there!
